The Cedar Center is one of central Portugal's largest privately supported animal shelters.  Barry and Yvonne Clent's passion to relieve the suffering of abandoned, abused and neglected animals is to be admired.

They found themselves in this role without any intention and they rely soley on the generosity of the public to keep the 40 dogs, 40 cats, 10 donkeys, quail, hedgehogs, sheep, goats, and any other animals that may need their support.

The Cedar Center's website was 'hacked' previously and a simple holding site was established and Leaping Ahead has developed for them a much more relevant site which encompasses details about the animals, what it takes to feed them, what the public can specifically do to support them, details of one of their main fund raising events, connection to Facebook, online secure donations button and various photo galleries.
