Hotel dos Cavaleiros had a website in 4 languages but it was written mostly in 'flash', one of sevaral reasons why the website was not performing. Speaking to the owner of the hotel he need an 'all-year' strategy to attract business to his hotel. We were asked to re-platform and redesign the website to be more appropriate for their customer base and to attract the traffic they needed.
We did several things to ensure that the website would 'work' for the business
- wrote relevant and compelling relevant content
- increased the use of images and text
- added value content giving people reasons to visit the hotel
- developed a 'business centre' offering for the hotel maximising facilities
- eliminated all flash elements
The features for the new website include
- Translation in 4 languages, easy to navigate between languages
- increased information about the hotel
- laid out information i.e. pricing in an easy format
- added a Google Map with locator indicators for areas to visit while visiting the hotel or reasons to stay at the hotel while in the area
Future developments will include an online booking system.

- special offers strategy
- sales and marketing support
